Laser Particle Counters
A precision instrument designed to detect and analyse particles in oils, liquids and systems. Based on laser technology — read-out in NAS / ISO / SAE codes.
Download Leaflet- AIn a handy battery-operated carry case, to check purity directly on the machine, with print-out, plus transfer of data to your cellphone / email.
- BStand-alone version for installation directly on your machine's pressure line, with or without display, with RS232 / 485 interface.
- CInstalled on our ELC oil cleaning unit — the OPCom integrated with the ELC. Compatible with mineral-based hydraulic oils, turbine oils and compressor oils.

Key features
- Oil cleanliness codes: ISO 4406, NAS 1638, & SAE AS4059
- Highly accurate sensor capable of self-calibration
- Full integration with SCADA/PC/PLC which can be controlled via analogue or digital instrumentation
Digital Particle Counter
S120 — a revolution in particle counting
Unlike laser counters, the digital image counter reads not just particulate matter in mineral, synthetic and water-based fluids, but also segregates particles into sliding wear, fibre, cutting wear, air bubbles and water droplets.

Key features
- Oil cleanliness codes: ISO 4406, NAS 1638 & SAE AS4059
- Particles are grouped by micron size in seven categories — 4, 6, 14, 21, 38, 70, >100µ
- The S120 detects air and gas bubbles and eliminates them from the counts
- Shape recognition software categorises particulates into sliding, cutting & fatigue wear
- Highly accurate sensor capable of self-calibration
- Full integration with SCADA / PC / PLC, controlled via analogue or digital instrumentation

Moisture in Oil Sensor
Moisture in Oil — Detect it, Measure it, Remove it!
An accurate & simple solution to detect moisture in oil.
Water is the biggest enemy of hydraulic & lubricating oils — even bigger than particulate contamination.
There is a clear nexus between presence of moisture and acid / sludge formation in oil. With the moisture sensor, users get a quick, accurate & simple way to detect moisture in oil in PPM (parts per million).
Keeping moisture level in oil below the saturation point helps increase oil life and protects the system.
- Displays
- Moisture level in ppm or AW (saturation level)
- Principle of operation
- Capacitance
- Interface
- 4–20 mA / Modbus
Function of catalysts
| Test | Catalysts (Metal) | Water | Time (Hrs) | Acid Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | nil | nil | 3,500 | 0.17 |
| 2 | nil | exists | 3,500 | 0.90 |
| 3 | iron | nil | 6,500 | 0.65 |
| 4 | iron | exists | 400 | 8.10 |
| 5 | copper | nil | 3,000 | 0.89 |
| 6 | copper | exists | 100 | 11.20 |
- Time: hours for reaching a certain level of acid value.
- Test oil is of 32cSt / 100 °F (40 °C).
- Tested oil temperature is 200 °F (93 °C).
Acid value indicates formation of “sludge” and sticky resinous matter which forms hard deposits on valves, pipes.
